Community Mediation Program, Inc., is a private not-for-profit organization striving to “reduce interpersonal conflict and community violence and animosity by increasing the use of non-violent conflict resolution strategies and by making mediation more accessible in Baltimore city.” CMP provides free mediation and teaches conflict resolution |

skills in neighborhoods, families, schools, businesses, and all across Baltimore. Since our first mediation in 1996, CMP has grown to a staff of 19. CMP also multiplies the impact of the community mediation movement by mobilizing volunteer community mediators, over 250 of whom are currently active.
